Dubai — the brief
Dubai's interior design market is the most competitive in the Gulf. The studios that survive here are the ones that deliver — on time, on budget, with a quality that holds up past the handover photograph. Our practice is built on that discipline, sharpened by twenty-five years of building for international hotel operators in China.
The Dubai office opened in 2024, but the studio is not new. Montaigne Design was founded in Hong Kong in 2011 and is headquartered in Shanghai, where our joinery workshop and procurement team sit. Dubai adds climate, scale, and the cultural context of the Gulf — three things that cannot be learned from a distance.
We serve private families, hospitality operators, master-developers, and cultural institutions. Every project begins with a private conversation — typically at the Dubai office or on site.
